Elson Liu, Eric Zhang, and Jiawei Zheng, were the leaders for the 6/8/2025 visit to The Park in Plano. It was a really hot summer day, and we were super excited but also a little nervous. That day, we were going to perform at Stonemere Rehabilitation Center for the seniors who live there.

Before the performance the GKT members had already arrived. They were helping the seniors get to the show room while others were setting up chairs and music stands. We had so many cool performances! There was piano, cello, violin, and even Tichi dancing. One person did a fan dance, and another played a fun jazz song that made some of the seniors tap their feet. They clapped and smiled after each performance. Some even stood up to cheer. That made us feel really proud and happy.

After the show, we started the next part—activities! We had three tables. Each leader brought a different craft---dreamcatchers, origami, and coloring sheets and markers.

At each table, the seniors really liked making crafts. We helped them tie the string and add beads. Some of them told funny stories or made jokes. One man laughed and said his dreamcatcher needed to be really big because he had crazy dreams. We all laughed with him.

The seniors were so nice and funny. We liked talking to them and helping them make cool crafts. It felt really good to see them happy.

In the end, we performed for them, did fun crafts, and made them smile. It was one of the best days ever!
