Volunteers at GKT spent their afternoon on 9/7/2025 at Stonemere Rehab Center to help bring some joy to the residing elders. Over a dozen young performers and groups performed activities on piano, vocal, and other instruments. After performing for the elders, volunteers engaged with elders in a set up arts and crafts activity involving building paper flowers with messages with the elders. As leaders, we not only learned the importance of keeping a positive attitude for both the volunteers and elders, but also how to cooperate effectively to work as a cohesive unit.
