Harry, Edric, and Tina, were the leaders for the 5/11/2025 visit to The Park in Plano. GKT is so glad that they invited us to their senior home for Mother’s Day. Our very talented members performed for the elderly, bringing a smile to their faces. We could sense they were happy to see us, and were curious about the members of our organization. One elderly even requested one of our members to play again. After performances, we gave the seniors flowers to celebrate Mother’s Day, as we helped them to the activity room. Where we provided coloring sheets, themed around the holiday, and oil pastels to use. Our leadership group for this visit chose oil pastels, because they are easier to use for the seniors who are physically disabled. Our members assisted in the activity too, helping residents in coloring. We think that this visit was really successful, because the residents kept on asking us to come back. We hope that the next visit to The Park in Plano will be even better than this time.
